Move-in day gets the year started at CSULB

Cal State Long Beach is back for its 2024-2025 academic year and more than 3,000 new and continuing students 鈥 with parents and helpers in tow - moved into the residential halls they鈥檒l call 鈥渉ome鈥 for the upcoming year.
The move-in period at The Beach鈥檚 three residential villages 鈥 Hillside, Parkside and Beachside 鈥 is an important 鈥渂ookend鈥 for students 鈥 graduation being the other, said Corry Colonna, executive director of Housing & Residential Life.
鈥淲e are so excited to bring students to campus and help them transition, learn and grow with us at The Beach,鈥 he added. 鈥淎nd as we say, 鈥楲ife is better when you live at The Beach.鈥 鈥
